The application owns the process: it plans the report from your question, searches the open web for each section, reads the files you upload to a project and, on Team, your knowledge base, keeps a copy of every page it reads, and writes from the passages they carry. Each citation quotes the page or file it names.
Every report ships at a canonical link. Rerun it and the link points at the latest version, with every earlier one kept. Reports that keep themselves current are coming.
The artefact lives wherever the reader needs it. The public API and the MCP endpoint ship on every tier, free included. The report is not held inside a vendor's UI.
