Acceptable use policy

Everyone who uses Deeperer: through the dashboard, over the API or MCP endpoint, or through anything built on top of them. If you invite people into a workspace or build a product on our API, you are responsible for their use as well as your own.

Deeperer researches markets, companies, sectors and topics. It is not an instrument for investigating individuals, and the following are not permitted:

• Compiling a profile or dossier on a private individual, including tracing where someone lives, works, travels or spends.
• Researching someone in order to harass, stalk, intimidate, dox or discredit them.
• Inferring or assembling special category data about a person - health, sexual life, religion, political opinion, trade union membership, biometrics, ethnicity.
• Vetting a person for employment, credit, insurance, housing or benefits, which is regulated in most places and needs a service built for it.
• Presenting output as a compliance or sanctions determination. A compliance decision remains yours.

Researching a public figure's public conduct, a company's officers as the register records them, or an author's published work is legitimate and expected. The line is the private life of a private person.

• Anything unlawful under the law that applies to you or to us, or that we would be required to remove.
• Defamatory allegations about an identifiable person or business, and material published to mislead about someone.
• Content that infringes copyright, database right, trade marks, confidence or trade secrets, including a report built by reproducing a paywalled or licensed work at length.
• Market manipulation, insider dealing, and anything else that misuses a report to move a price.
• Material that presents machine-authored research as human-authored where the law or a professional obligation requires that be disclosed. Removing the Deeperer attribution on a plan that permits it does not make a report human-authored.
• Content that facilitates violence, weapons or explosives development, terrorism, child sexual abuse material, or the exploitation of anyone.

• Do not ask the service to bypass a paywall, a login, a rate limit or a technical access control, or to retrieve something you are not entitled to read.
• Do not strip an attribution or disclaimer line a data provider requires when you republish a report.
• Do not use the service as a general-purpose scraper. It reads sources to write research, it is not a bulk extraction pipeline.

• No probing, scanning or testing the platform's security without our written permission, and no reaching data or an account that is not yours.
• No working around a rate limit, a balance gate or a plan boundary, including by rotating keys, addresses or accounts.
• No reselling access, sharing an API key outside your organisation, or offering the service to others as your own without an agreement with us.
• No using our output to train, fine-tune, distil or evaluate a competing research or model product, and no systematic harvesting of our published corpus.
• No reverse engineering the platform except so far as the law expressly permits.
• No automated volume that degrades the service for other customers.

Paid plans and top-ups are sold by Polar as Merchant of Record, and Polar's own acceptable-use rules apply to the sale. Do not use stolen or unauthorised payment details, do not raise a chargeback for research that was delivered, and do not use Deeperer to launder funds or evade sanctions.

If something published on deeperer.com is unlawful, infringes your rights, defames you, or contains your personal data and should not, write to in@deeperer.com with:

• the URL, and the specific passage;
• what is wrong with it, in your own words;
• your name and a contact address, and the right you are asserting where you assert one;
• for a copyright claim, enough to identify the work and a statement that you own it or act for the owner.

We acknowledge, examine, and where a complaint is serious we restrict access to the content while we do. A report we take down stays down; where the complaint is contested we tell the workspace that published it and give them a chance to answer. Illegal content is acted on with priority. We keep a record of complaints and act against repeat infringement, including closing an account.

Depending on what happened, we may warn you, take down a report, revoke an API key, apply a limit, suspend the workspace, or close the account. Where the breach is serious or unlawful we act first and explain afterwards; otherwise we tell you and give you the chance to put it right. Where the law requires it we report the matter to the authorities.

We do not monitor research proactively, and we do not read your unpublished work to police this policy. We act on reports, on abuse signals, and on what a public report says.
